I have worked as a high school science teacher, primarily physics, in Denver Public Schools and Cherry Creek Public Schools in Denver and Aurora, Colorado. I worked with Cherry Creek Schools to establish the Overland Institute for Science and Technology. Our team of science teachers launched a high technology Engineering Physics program, Biotechnology and a FIRST Robotics chapter. I currently work for the University of New Mexico Taos Branch as the STEM Curriculum Coordinator for Upward Bound Math and Science.
